San Diego fire fighters find lost tortoise and return him to his family - Catherine - 12-18-2023
Mr T the tortoise went missing about a month ago. San Diego fire fighters were clearing brush when they spotted Mr T.
They loaded him on their truck and brought him back to the fire station. Mr T is 150 pounds so it needed a team of fire fighters and their truck to move him.
They found a flyer put out by Mr T's family and they contacted them. They have had him 20 years so they were glad to get him back.

Mr T must be quite a walker. He covered some ground in a month. Good thing they put out flyers. It made sure that Mr T made it home.
He got to ride in a fire truck. I think we all wish we could do that.
