BC SPCA ended up rescuing 31 dogs from an irresponsible breeder. They were kept in a dark unheated building, without proper care. Their fur was matted and their nails overgrown. One dog, Avery, a one year old golden doodle, had a surprise for the shelter. She gave birth to 11 puppies.
With good care she was able to raise the puppies and then find a loving home of her own. The puppies are adorable and have done well at finding good homes.

It is beautiful how well things worked out. Avery was rescued in time so she could give birth with proper care. Her puppies were able to be well raised and then find good homes. If she had still been with the breeder it would not have gone so well and the puppies would have had a poor start in life.
Avery is one lucky dog. Out there eleven families are lucky to have a puppy of their own.
