43 Monkeys escape from South Carolina Research Facility - Catherine - 11-08-2024

Alpha Genesis provides primates for research purposes.
They have had a large number of monkeys escape into the woods.
The police are looking for them and people are being told to be careful.

It looks like the monkeys have taken to the woods and are still running.
They were destined for medical research so I hope they get away.
I don't know if they could survive in South Carolina. It is a fair way south so they should be warm enough.
Would there be food for them. I don't know.
I do know they would be better off in the woods than back in a research facility.
Run, monkeys run.

News update, these aren't just monkeys. They are Rhesus Macaques. They are a good size, even if these are young ones.
So far 25 of the Macaques have been caught. Eighteen of them are still out there.

Sadly they have not run very far and are likely to be caught. If only they could find there way to a primate sanctuary.
They are from a research facility. Their futures are not to bright if they are caught.
