Big hisses to the people who left the two turtle on the beach to die slowly so they could eat them
Big purrs to the people who were so outraged by this that they did something to save the turtles.

How wonderful of these people to help them. They looked okay as they took off.
How cruel that the hunters just left them to die in agony.

I think the people who hunt turtles don't regard them as real living creatures. They have no respect for them and they do not care about their suffering.
What I love is the fact that the rescuers responded spontaneously to the situation. They saw a wrong and they righted it. They were not an organized group. They came together because they needed too. It shows that we can make a difference. I don't even think that there was one leader. I think they were caring people who all wanted to help.
