New Orca calf for J-pod - Catherine - 02-21-2025
The southern resident orca pod, known as J-pod, now has a new female calf.
The calf is doing very well. She is filling out nicely.

This is good news for J-pod. The pod has had losses and their numbers are not great.
A healthy female calf gives the pod hope for the future.
