World spay day - Catherine - 02-26-2025
It is World Spay Day, a day dedicated to bringing awareness to the need to spay and neuter our pets.
It was started by Doris Day in 1995 and it continues to this day.

I didn't realize World Spay Day was started in 1995. That means it is 30 years old.
Think of how many cats and dogs have been spayed because of this day. Think of how many unwanted kittens and puppies were avoided.
Where ever you are in the world you can spay and neuter your pets or contribute to help other people spay and neuter their pets.
If we all work on this, we can reduce the number of unwanted pets. Hopefully someday every pet born will be a wanted pet and every pet will have a home.
