It is true, after 529 days, a dog missing since November 2023 has been found safe and returned to her family.
You might be picturing a tough, rugged dog, but Valerie is an 8 pound Dachshund.

It doesn't seem possible that an 8 pound dog could survive that long under such rugged conditions.
I can't imagine what she ate or even how she kept safe. Never give up hope when a pet is lost.
