Update on Gaza Zoo - Catherine - 09-22-2014
Here are some pictures of the surviving animals at Gaza Zoo. Sadly most of the animals died.

With time and love those that are left will recover. It is so sad that vulnerable animals are caught in human conflicts.

It is heartbreaking. Many humans have suffered including little children, but the humans started the conflict -not the animals. If these animals were free in the natural world, they would have fled from the scene of battle and devastation. But held in cages, they had no choice.
I am glad these animals are getting the help they need.

I admire the people who have tried to help the animals all through the conflict and who are helping now.
We made the mess. we need to fix it. The animals did not deserve this.
