A dog kept breaking into a nursing home - Catherine - 08-31-2025
One night staff found a dog had broken into the nursing home and was sleeping on the couch. It turns out he was from the animal shelter across the road.
After his third break-in, it was decided he should stay. Scout has become a real favourite at the nursing home. He fits right in and is happy to be there.

Usually you go to the animal shelter and pick out a dog. In this case the dog went to the people and chose them.
He made the right choice. He is definitely the dog they needed to make everyone's life brighter.
Dogs do well in places like nursing homes. They can be lonely places for people with little or no family. A dog will make up for all that and make people feel
special and cared for. Scout somehow knew they needed him and didn't wait to be asked. He just walked in and kept coming back until they realized they needed him. What would humans do without dogs.
