Animal Rights reforms in Britain. - Catherine - 12-23-2025 The UK government is planning to improve animal welfare standards. A number of changes have been proposed. Cage hens and pig farrowing crates are to be outlawed. Trail hunting and puppy farming are to be banned. It is hoped that these changes will be in effect by 2030. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c93wxd27dvko A lot of rural people will be against this, because it will mean changes. These are basic changes that improve the life and living conditions of many animals. It might matter how these things are implemented, but they are necessary. We don't benefit from a system that is inherently cruel. |
