Cold shocked sea turtles in Florida - Catherine - 02-10-2026
Florida has been experiencing what is very cold weather for the area. Ocean temperatures have dropped and dozens of sea turtles have been found in a state of cold shock. They have been taken to the Turtle Hospital where they will be carefully warmed. When they have recovered and the conditions are right, they will be released into the ocean.

We can't control the weather, but we can be there to save the turtles affected by the weather.
Because of the Turtle Hospital's hard work, many turtles have survived that would not have made it.
