A woman hiking with her dog in New Zealand fell 55 m and had to be airlifted out. Her dog was not found at the time.
Precision Helicopters organized a search. They wouldn't give up and a week later, Molly, the Border Collie was found.
She was near the place where her person was found. She is doing okay and has been reunited with her person, who is also doing okay.

Good for the helicopter company and the public who funded the search for Molly.
She was there waiting to be found. She could never have made it to safety on her own.
The video of the reunion of Molly and Jessica is beautiful. The dog must have wondered if she would ever see her person again.
