Cat evacuated from wildfires just became a mom - Catherine - 08-21-2026
A cat was evacuated from the wildfires in BC on July 24. When she arrived with her people, she was found to be pregnant.
The animal care volunteers went out of their way to provide a safe place for her to have her kittens.
On Aug 5, she gave birth to 5 beautiful, healthy babies.

It is amazing that with everything she went through, the cat is happily nursing her kittens and being a good mom.
The people helping rescue animals from the wildfires are doing an incredible job. They are looking after any animal they can, including a pregnant cat.
