Pet Halloween costumes. - Catherine - 10-20-2026

This year there are some very clever pet Halloween costumes.

I guess it depends on your pet when it comes to choosing a costume.
Some dogs would make a perfect hotdog. Other dogs would make a perfect mermaid.
At least we have choices.

Hot Dog is a good one!
Some dogs don't mind being dressed up, and some dislike it. It's good to be sensitive to your dog and take it off if they are uncomfortable (or if it's beneath their dignity!)
But on a cold Halloween night, I bet many dogs would appreciate the extra warmth of a hot dog costume! Smiley4

On Halloween night many people will come by with their dog in a costume. The costumes are done like a dog coat, but with extras. It will be cold, so many of the dogs will be happy to wear a coat with extras. I think the dogs have gotten into the spirit of the night.
The hot dog costume is the funniest, for shorter dogs. Bigger dogs do well in capes like a super hero.

My area goes crazy for Halloween. The dogs will be dressed up and their owners will have matching costumes.
Right now they are going crazy for decorations outside their homes.
I think if I had a small dog, I would try to make it look like a pumpkin.
Dogs are such good sports they would have fun being a pumpkin.
