The dangers of Halloween decorations for wildlife - Catherine - 10-28-2026
It is that time of year when people put up all kinds of decorations. In particular they use fake webbing to look like giant spiders webs.
These are particularly dangerous for animals.

In this case it was a deer. Birds and even insects get tangled. Do we really need a decoration that can injure local wildlife.
Is there a safer way we can decorate. Every year some animals end up in trouble. Is it really worth it. Do you want to take the risk of injuring an animal.
Please look for safer alternatives. The animals will thank you.
