We are used to animals being support for people. It seems funny to think of a person being the support for an animal.
Mango the 50 year old Flamingo had lost his mate and was a lonely, grumpy old man. He lived at Butterfly Gardens in BC.
One of the horticulturists decided to try become friends with Mango. It took 6 months, but Mango now looks to him for support.

We think of animals being there for us. I am happy to hear that someone decided to be there for an animal.
No doubt Mango was sad and lonely after losing his mate. Having someone be there as a friend will make all the difference to him.
If animals can support us, we can support them.
