Feline Philosophy: Cats and the Meaning of Life
#1
The author of the book, John Gray wrote a previous book called Straw Dogs: Thoughts on Humans and Other Animals. He essentially takes apart western philosophy. With Feline Philosophy: Cats and the Meaning of Life Gray approaches life using a  cat's perspective to give answers.
It is a little more complicated than that, but I think both books  would be an interesting read for an animal lover. Gray's thinking is influenced by the cats he has lived with. For those of us who have lived with cats we will find a familiarity with  the feline mind in his writings.

I admit the books do sound very interesting. I might enjoy reading Straw Dogs. I don't have any love for most western philosophers. Seeing them dismantled sounds like fun. The cat philosophy sounds intriguing. I have lived with cats and they are very much in the moment. We could do a lot worse than cats as a role model.
