I came across an ad with a video for modular cat trees. You use the parts to configure it any way you want. It can be changed and new parts added.
It would b probably be a good cat tree option for a small space.

They describe it as Ikea for cats. The description fits. You put pieces together the way you want them. If you have a cat that gets bored easily, the tree can be reconfigured regularly. When I think of the old style cat trees I know cats are much better off now. We can give them really cool furniture that suits them and suits us.
