Pitbull rescues neighbour

One cold night recently, Bella, the Pitbull went to patio door and started barking and scratching. When her people tried to call her she became more frantic. The people got dressed and went outside to look and found their elderly neighbour had fallen on the sidewalk and couldn't get up. If Bella had not alerted them, the neighbour would have been outside on the sidewalk all night and probably wouldn't have survived.

Good for Bella! She was smart enough to know how to get her people to help and she was smart enough to know that help was needed. You could expect a dog to help its own people, but Bella went further and helped a neighbour. In a world where Pitbulls are banned as dangerous in many places, Bella does a lot to change the stereotype. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves.
