Family uses Xbox to keep sick Degu alive

Cookie the Degu isn't well. The vet has given her medication, but she needs to be kept warm. Her family couldn't get a heating pad so the improvised. They loaded up the Xbox and let it run. They get warm when they are running and that was enough heat for Cookie who is now sleeping on the Xbox.

So is this the most creative use of an Xbox or is this the most creative way to keep an animal warm? I think it is both.
Either way, it shows a dedication to keeping their little Degu alive. I hope she recovers. Her people clearly love her very much.
