Lost pet posters
#1
Some of them are works of art. There is certainly a lot of creativity in some of the posters.
Of course someone has compiled a bunch for us to see on the internet.

I think humor works because we look at it and remember it.

Years ago a neighbour put up a poster about "Poor Richard's Cat is missing".
By morning he had three cats returned to him, none of them his.Smiley4 Poor Richard's cat had climbed inside a live trap set out with sardines to attract racoons so thy could be moved. Of course he couldn't get out so he snacked on the sardines until someone found him in the morning.

This could work very well in certain instances. At least it would make people take a second, or third good look at the poster. Oddly enough -perhaps the lack of a perfect picture might even make people more observant of any 'stray' or lost-looking cat they see.....possibly.
And yes, the humour can make a thing stick in a person's memory.

Humour worked for Richard. He got his cat back four times over.Smiley4
I find a poster that catches my attention is good because I will remember what I have seen. If I see the lost pet, I will recognize it and help to get it back home.
