Dog trainer talks about movie experience
#1
I always love a movie with a dog in it. If the dog is the star, even better. So I was delighted to find an interview with the dog trainer for a new movie which has a dog as a star.
We don't get to see the movie until it comes out, but we do get some insight into the dogs.

I am glad to hear that animal training for movies is clearly filled with respect for the animals and cooperation between the animals and the trainer.

(I did read up about snakes on a plane and all the snakes were treated well. They belonged to the snake handler so they mattered to him. On the days there were snakes on set they only allowed people who were comfortable with snakes to be there. They also had a snake safe set built for the actual snake scenes.)

I am really glad to hear that they are careful that no horses are hurt in movies. In the past I am not so sure.
