Four Bison killed for the filming of Solutrean

I am not familiar with the film or its story. However that doesn't matter. They deliberately killed four Bison at the film set because they wanted real dead bodies for their scene.

It is a very dangerous precedent. Where does it end?

Most films have a notice at the end that no animals were harmed in the making of this film. The American Humane Society certifies this. Solutrean cannot be certified in this way. Four Bison were deliberately killed for the movie.

The movie could have been made without the killing of Bison.

This is disgusting, that this farmer is even allowed to raise these majestic animals, and has no feelings for them.

To this farmer they are just a source of money. They paid enough so he let them be killed. Movies have so many other options when they want to show something. Animal cruelty and abuse is not needed.
