Cecil the Lion...one year later

It has been a year since Palmer the dentist killed Cecil the Lion. It has been quite a year of awareness of animal issues and protests against hunting.
I like to think that there will be a lasting impact and Cecil's death was not for nothing.
It seems that Cecil himself has inspired a book. His death is part of it, but his life is the real story.

I hope children reading the story will be inspired and will be very aware of animal issues. That would be a good legacy for Cecil,
that and his many children.

Lets hope his death wasn't in vain and people have learnt from it.

As long as we remember Cecil and use him as an example his death will have meaning. Other animals will live because Cecil is a rallying point against such senseless killing.
