Over 1200 pets reunited with their people
#1
Now that the Fort McMurray fire is over there are a lot of cleanup tasks and reorganizations to be done.
Reuniting rescued pets is one of those jobs.

They have done well if there are just 3 cats that have not been claimed.
It is incredible that they were able to rescue them all and incredible that they are bringing pets and people together

Getting those animals and people back together again is a great job done!

But how strange about the 3 cats. They don't look like feral cats. I wonder if their human might have passed away? I hope either they will be claimed soon, or go to good new homes.

I don't think their people died. Only one person was killed and I think it was a car accident. The owners could be people who have returned to another part of the country and they may not know where the cats are. The whole city was evacuated in all directions and people have lost touch with everything. If no one claims them they will go to homes and they will be fine.

It is amazing that they were able to reconnect that many pets with their people. They did not plan the evacuation. It was done in a hurry because the fire was moving so fast.
