Both articles are interesting. I always thought gulls were clever. Now I see they are very social animals as well.
We shouldn't dislike them. They are very beautiful and interesting birds.

I wonder if it is just a few individual gulls that hang around humans for food or do all gulls spend some time scavenging and the rest of the  time eating normally. I know some gulls live in areas that have a lot of human food interactions. If a gull hatches near fast food places it probably has more chance of being a fast food junky(just like people). A gull hatched in a remote area would have less exposure.  I wonder if they can track that kind of food connection.

So the question is whether gulls are becoming more aggressive about food or are we forcing ourselves into their areas and they are having to react accordingly.
