Armadillo pups born

The National Zoo in Washington has just had two baby Screaming Hairy Armadillo pups born. They are the smallest of the armadillo species. They are so funny and cute and I am glad efforts are being made to protect the species.

I told you they were cute. Armadillos are such a strange looking creature. I can't imagine seeing one in the wild. 
I hope the little pups do well and congrats to their parents, armadillo and human.

I really like Armadillos! Yet I have never seen "pups" before, so this is a real treat. Best wishes to them all. Yes they are funny looking creatures but pups are cute.

They are such an unlikely looking animal, but really cute. It is good that they were able to produce some pups. It will give hem a chance to study and understand them. Every little bit helps when you are working with endangered species.
