Blind Hurricane Harvey dog finds a home in Toronto
#1
A number of groups have brought dogs to Canada from the Huston area. Redemption Paws made a point of bringing back handicapped dogs. They wanted to rescue the most unadoptable dogs and give them a chance.

One dog is totally blind. He is now in a happy home that loves and cares for him.

It is great that the dogs are all finding homes. I am sure the new  dogs they are bringing to Toronto will settle in and be adopted very quickly.

I wonder who is going to break the news to a Texas dog about a Canadian winter. They are all going to need warm coats.

I am glad that these refugee dogs especially the ones who are disabled, are finding loving homes.
Yes Canadian winters will be a bit different to anything they knew in Texas! They will need good dog-coats and maybe even dog-boots if the snow and ice gets very bad!

The poor dogs will wonder what happened now that the cold weather is here, but they are getting good homes. Toronto is able to absorb a lot of dogs. I understand that we were already taking dogs from Huston shelters before Hurricane Harvey hit. Now there are more rescue groups taking dogs so Toronto will end up with many Huston dogs before things settle down.

It is beautiful that they are bringing in the handicapped and unadoptable dogs. They are the ones that have to most need and there is always a family that will take them.
