Two years ago Saeed was rescued from Syria and Simba was rescued from Iraq. They have been in temporary care in the
Al-Ma'wa Animal Sanctuary in Jordan. Good feeding and care have helped them gain weight and get over the trauma they suffered.
Now the two lions are happily in their new home at Lionsrock Sanctuary in South Africa.

I still remember the original rescue of Saeed. He was in bad shape. It is good to know that he recovered and even better to know that he has gone home to an African Sanctuary.
