The wild animals of Rome
#1
I found an article that was looking at the wildlife of Rome. I was surprised to see that they have wolves again. I thought they died out in the area years ago. It seems there are many animals still living in the area and flourishing again under conservation efforts.
There are even some imports flourishing. A couple of species of parrots have made their home in the area.

I was glad to read that the Peregrine falcons are back. After the DDT ban they have slowly been recovering and are now seen in a number of places.  There is hope for the natural world when animals make a comeback. It means our efforts to help wildlife survive are working.
Maybe many more species can make a come back all over Europe. That would be amazing.
