Volunteer hid a dog at a high kill shelter to save its life
#1
A kind volunteer hid the dog, Denali, because at a high kill shelter she was in danger of being euthanized. Finally the volunteer contacted Second Chance Rescue to ask for help. Denali is a sweet dog and deserved a chance to live.

Second Chance Rescue does some good work. They have helped many dogs find homes.

Hopefully Denali will find the home she deserves.

There are still millions of homeless dogs in the world. It is going to take the work of many dedicated people to help them.
These are some of those dedicated people.

Brilliant! Thank goodness Denali was saved.

I wish they wouldn't call these high-kill places "shelters". They shelter nothing. It might affect people who are considering surrendering their dogs to such places. And people do for so many reasons when in many instances there may possibly be another solution. My take on it is a dog may have maximum two weeks to live in such a place, and most of the time probably not that long.

Blessings to that volunteer who helped and saved Denali. Heart

You are right. They shouldn't be called shelters  when they don't  really shelter animals.
They should  have to be labeled  high kill facilities.

It is wonderful  that there are people  working  to rescue dogs from places like that.
