Alberta wolves restored Yellowstone Park
#1
This is a story we have looked at and have seen videos of. It is just good to check in and see how things are doing.
It becomes clearer every year that the wolves have restored Yellowstone to its natural state.  The wolves have brought a balance between the grazing species and the vegetation. Everything is better and more stable.

That tells us the secret to habitat restoration is to let nature do it. We might have to reintroduce some major species like wolves or bison. Once we have done that we have to let nature build things back to normal over a period of years.

Right now they have just reintroduced Bison to Banff National Park in Alberta. It is going to take years to see results. Who knows what will happen. The important thing is waiting while changes take place.

The wolves of Yellowstone are an example of what nature can do with a little help.
