Child skips birthday presents to make a donation to an animal shelter

Violet is a wonderful little 6 year old. She asked people to bring donations to the animal shelter instead of presents. Many people brought both and people she didn't know sent in donations. She ended up making the Fairfield Area Humane Society's biggest donation ever.

It is wonderful to find a child who is so caring for animals that she was willing to give up her presents to help the shelter care for the animals.  She sets a good example for all of us.
