A home owner noticed odd stains on his patio stones so he installed a surveillance camera. He was shocked to discover that the post man pepper sprayed his dog. It seems he did it on at leas 9 different occasions. The little dog was behind an iron gate so there was no way it could hurt the postman, but that didn't stop the postman from hurting the dog.

This is a case of animal cruelty and should be treated as such. However the injury to the man's children is a serious issue as well. Even though they were not the intended target, using pepper spray like that has endangered them. I think there need to be some charges laid. I think the post office needs to do some retraining of its staff. The police are no calling for other dog owners to come forward if they think their dogs have been pepper sprayed.
