USA reconsiders decicion to use cyanide bombs
#1
After declaring their intention to use cyanide bombs to kill coyotes, the American Environmental Protection Agency is reconsidering its decision. There was a strong negative response to their decision primarily because of the dangers to humans and other animals, domestic and wild.

This is good news. I hope they don't reverse themselves again. This needed to be stopped. There is no doubt all the pressure from everyone who complained is behind the reversal.
Never doubt that  pushing for animals to be treated well is having a positive effect.

I hope this ends the idea of cyanide bombs once and for all.

Well, it was a stupid crazy idea in the first place, as well as a terribly cruel one.

I am glad to notice sense is being seen !

There must have been a strong push against the cyanide bombs.

Maybe they considered legal liability issues. There have been family pets killed and a child injured. Eventually some child would get killed and then they could be sued. There could even be charges of endangerment or something like that. The cyanide bombs were just being placed out where anything could find them. The whole idea was very dangerous.

Whatever the reasons for the reversal, we can breath a sigh of relief. At least until they come up with some other crazy idea.
