Canuck the Crow is missing
#1
Sad
Canuck the Crow has nor been seen since Friday.  His people are his mate are very worried. An absence like this is not like him.

Canuck is famous for his antics. He flew down to a crime scene and stole the murder weapon. He has been into all kinds of things and has become  well known and well loved bird.

I know Canuck may just be off somewhere doing something outrageous, but he is usually not gone for this long.
We can hope he is okay, but I know we are all scared that something has happened to him.
If I hear anything I will post it right away.

Stories of Canuck have been making us laugh for years now and it is hard to picture a world without him.

Yes I remember Canuck -very well. I do hope that nothing has happened to him.
It seems it is unusual for Canuck to go off on his own. My Crow friend Koori sometimes does disappear for a day or so, and once, for even longer. But when he (she?) returned there was a new young Crow also, so it is obvious he/she had been nesting.
I wonder if Canuck could be doing the same ? (though it is an odd time of year for that) I hope he'll be OK.

Canuck is male and has a mate and they did raise babies earlier this year.  He is missing from all his usual places and everyone is very worried now. They are even offering a reward for his return.

Canuck is now also a federally protected bird so he has the whole force of government protection behind him. He is specially banded and as such cannot be disturbed in his life as a wild bird.

It is possible someone has taken him. If so the reward might help. Worse, an eagle or some other calamity might have occurred.
I don't want to fear the worst. Like everyone else I really want to believe he will come home.

The reward is up to $10,000 and people are starting to fear the worst.

I hope Canuck comes back and gets into his usual capers.

It is not sounding too good, if there is no news yet. Poor Canuck. It is a mystery.

It has been way too many days with no news of Canuck. There is a lot of human activity and I guess it is understandable. People are upset and now getting frightened that something has happened.

The best thing now would be for someone to have him. At least then he would still be alive. sadly I don't think anyone has him.
It isn't looking good. How long can crows stay away and would he leave his mate alone? It will be a sad day if we have lost our much loved Canuck. I keep checking the latest news, but there is nothing positive about Canuck and his whereabouts.
