A great white shark got itself trapped in a fishing weir. It was worn out from trying to escape so the local fishermen gave it some help.
It was a bout 18 feet long so it was no easy job to rescue. They managed to get a rope around its tail and tow it out into the bay.
Once out there they turned it loose and it swam free.

That was brave and kind. The shark may have been very tired, but it was still a big great white shark and potentially dangerous. I am surprized the boat they used was able to pull a shark that big. I am glad to learn that the fishermen usually rescue trapped sharks and let them swim free.
