Pet Hospice destroyed by fire.

Randy's Rescue Ranch takes in elderly and handicapped pets and provides a loving home for them. There was a fire in their main farm house. Fortunately a passerby saw the fire and called the fire department. They were in time to rescue the dogs in wheel chairs and two paralyzed dogs. Sadly two senior cats did not make it.
In spite of the loss the rescue will go on and the community is already responding with donations. City electrical workers came on their day off to restore power. This is no ordinary shelter and the pets they take in are no ordinary pets. They are part of a program to help special needs children and adults and they will soon be working with veterans with PTSD.

I am relieved the animals were rescued in time. This sounds like a wonderful place for the animals and the people they help.
I know they have had a set back, but they can rebuild something even better and more suited to the animals they rescue. It is a hard way to start the year, but with determination and community help Randy's Rescue Ranch will carry on.
