San Diego Animal Centre gives pet food to people not working because of the epidemic

The Helen Woodward Animal Center in San Diego has started a program to give out a two week supply of food to people who are not working because of the epidemic. This is a hard time for people. Without a pay cheque paying the bills is tough. Feeding the pets is impossible. Giving a bit of help now will give people hope and get them through the crisis.

This is the only program I have heard of so far that is helping feed people's pets. I am sure there are others. When ever there is need somehow people step up and meet that need. It is good to know that there are people out there helping in this difficult time.

I think a lot of people are being helpful to each other. We see the pictures of empty shelves and people fighting over stuff, but there are also people collecting pet food and giving it to people who need it.
