Wildlife wandering in locked down cities
#1
Various cities around the world are locked down right now with people being told to stay home.  The streets of these cities are deserted. at least they are deserted by people. It is noticeable that there is more of a wildlife presence. These animals are living with us in our cities. They are just very secretive and we seldom see them. Now that we are not out there the animals feel safe to wander the streets.

This would be a good time to take a quiet walk at night. You might see something interesting. I know I see skunks and raccoons during my normal night walks. Who knows what I might see now. We have deer in our river valleys. Maybe I will see one in my garden some night.

It seems our local wildlife is taking advantage of the lockdown. They have the city to themselves and they are making use of it.

I saw a skunk the other day, they tend to be bold and are always around. We can see them late at night. This one wasn't quite so late.

More wildlife is taking to the abandoned streets of cities around the world.

I love how at home the animals look walking down streets and lying on people's lawns. They are prepared to take over any time.
We may have to negotiate with wildlife when this is over. They may not want to give up wandering through our cities.

Every day animal are getting bolder and making it clear that they don't miss us. They are totally reclaiming the planet. They are claiming our cities is ways we never thought possible.

I have never seen so many birds as I have seen this year. They are also not showing fear like they used to. I am okay with the birds claiming my garden. I just hope they are willing to share a little.

More wildlife in the city. This is a global event and wildlife is taking over everywhere.

I have had skunks and raccoons in my garden. I am sure there are deer  in the river valleys. I have many birds everywhere.  I would love to look out and see goats.
That would be too funny. That won't happen where I am, but there are plenty of goats in some places.

There is wildlife taking over everywhere.  I am surprized at some of the animals  that people are seeing.

So far I am seeing skunks and raccoons and some big fat robins with attitude.
