Pets of the Pandemic
#1
Many people are in isolation at home with their pets. The pets are making a real difference to the well being of their humans.

Even if the pet makes a mess and causes lots of problems, it is still better than being home alone with nothing happening.
Pets do the most ridiculous things and they make us laugh. They need our care and they keep us focused on everyday normal things.
In the midst of a global pandemic, the litter pan still needs cleaning and the dog needs a walk. Our pets take us out of ourselves and they keep us grounded. Being isolated at home without a pet would be a very lonely and tedious experience.

Pets are life!

Here are some more pets doing their part to help their people through the pandemic.

There is no doubt pets do more for us than we do for them.

I am not at home isolating. As essential services I am still working. It is strange and scary out there and coming home to my pets is a moment of sanity and peace in a crazy day. I don't know if I could do it without them. My guinea pigs were stretched out sleeping after their breakfast. They looked so peaceful and normal. It made it easier for me to get ready to go out. They reminded me that normal does exist. I am home all day Sunday feeding my reptiles and it is going to feel so normal. A good nights sleep and a normal day, I really need that.

I found another article. This one doesn't just talk about the usual pets, it mentions someone who has reptiles. The guy has a baby Tegu. I have Barrie my old Tegu. He must be having a great time with his baby.

Maybe if it gets warmer I could take Barrie the Tegu out for a walk.

More pets of the pandemic. People are now into the second week or more at home with their pets. It is getting interesting.

I am wondering what will happen if people are home a month or two with their pets. The results could be hilarious.
I am pretty sure our pets are going to remember 2020 a little different than we do. It will be that cool year they had so much fun with us.

As this drags on people are getting more creative. One woman created a Whack-a-mole game for her dogs.

I think she is having more fun than the dogs. They are after the treat, but she is actually playing a game.
How do people without pets manage to pass the time?

It gets funnier every day. Now people are creating pictures of their  pets in sweaters using their own hands in the sleeves to do things.

It is cute and it made me laugh. Clearly people have a lot of time on their hands  If they are using that time to have fun with their pets then it is time well spent.
