Chris Malmberg of MOMMS Premium Pet Food set it up for his store to accept pet food donations on April 4 for the Calgary Food Bank.
People in need of food also have pets that need food. They collected 3,500 pounds of pet food in an afternoon. The response was overwhelming.

This is amazing. Many people are struggling right now. They don't want to give up their pets, but they have no way of feeding them.
The food bank wants to help, but it lacked the resources. Now they have a good supply of food and they can help many people look after themselves and their pets. It is beautiful how generous people were in their donations. All they needed was someone to organize the pet food drive. It was good of Chris Malmberg to use his business to set this up. People can be so good sometimes.
