By 2022 Canada Goose will use reclaimed fur in its coats.

Canada Goose is famous for its parkas trimmed with coyote fur. Those coyotes are trapped and suffer before they are killed. This has lead to a lot of protest against Canada Goose. In a partial move against fur, they will start in 2022 to use reclaimed fur.

If they are willing to stop being part of the trapping cycle, why not just stop using fur altogether. Find non fur alternatives right from the start.
Using reclaimed fur is trying to meet the demands of the animals right activists while still producing fur trimmed jackets.  They are not really meeting anyone's expectations. They would show more integrity as a company if they would make a choice. 
Do they really need fur on their jackets? No! They could produce a quality product with out the animal cruelty.
