Trained dogs Rhinos from poachers.
#1
The South African Wildlife College in Krueger Park trains packs of dogs to track poachers and stop them. The dogs begin training from birth and are in the field by 18 months. The dogs work on and off the leash. The free tracking dogs can move much faster through areas a human could not follow. They have stopped many poachers. Dozens of Rhinos have been saved.

Once again dogs save the day. The packs of dogs they use are made up of Beagles and Blood Hounds and other dogs who well suited to tracking. Tracking is in their nature. So the dogs are doing what they love and rhinos are saved from poachers. Everybody wins in this situation except the poachers and no one wants them to win.  Without the help of the dogs, too many rhinos are lost to poachers. The whole species is at risk. Tracking dogs give the rhinos a chance to survive.
