Pets and hot cars don't mix.
#1
It is that time of year when we need to remind people about pets in hot cars. It takes very little time for a parked car to become dangerously hot. Even in the shade and even with a window partly open, a car can become fatally hot in a  short time.

It might seem like a good idea to take your dog with you when you go put.  If that outing involves leaving the dog in the car, it might be the last outing your dog ever has. It is very easy to lose track of time. You might only intend to be gone 10 minutes, but that can easily become a fatal amount of time.
Also, are you sure how long you can safely leave your dog before it dies. Maybe it is ten minutes, maybe it is eight minutes and  maybe today is a bit warmer and the car will reach fatal temperatures in 7 minutes. Do you really want to take a chance with your pets life. Your dog depends on you for everything and gives so much in return. Please don't fail your dog in this one thing. There is so much going wrong right now that we can't control. This one thing we can do. We can make sure no dog dies in a hot car this summer.
