Microplastics found in Antarctic animals
#1
Microplastics are the tiny pieces of plastic that are less than 5mm in length. They are now everywhere in the environment  and I do mean everywhere. They have found microplastics in the bodies of tiny animals on a remote Antarctic island.

That means we have pretty much contaminated the entire planet with our plastic pollution. It is unlikely that there is anywhere that is free of our plastic pollution.
That also means that we have contaminated every species on the planet. That also means we have microplastics in our own bodies. We don't know what microplastics will do to the bodies of Antarctic animals and we do not know what they will do to our bodies. I have no idea how we are going to clean this mess up.
We haven't even started to clean up. We are still dumping plastics and making the problem worse.
