European Hamsters on the critically endangered list
#1
European hamsters have been in danger for a number of years now. They have suffered serious habitat loss. Agricultural practices in their territory have deprived them of food sources. Now they are critically endangered and without some conservation efforts they could cease to exist.

Hamsters and a great many other species  are in danger of being lost forever. We need to take the situation seriously and make changes in what we do while there is still time. Once they are gone, they are gone forever. We might talk about bringing back the woolly mammoth, but we know it is never going to happen.  We still have the European Hamster. We can do something while they are still with us. We need to focus on the species we can help.

I suspect planting things the hamsters can eat would really help. Maybe there needs to be a Plant Food For Hamsters campaign.
