Indochinese Tigers spotted in Thailand
#1
A forest camera set up in western Thailand captured images of not one, but three Indochinese tigers. Tigers have not been seen in the area in 4 years.
The three were young and healthy and a real sign that conservation efforts are working.

It is nice to have good news for a change. We hear so much about animals in danger of extinction and animals that have not been seen or are in such reduced numbers that it doesn't look good for them. Suddenly we hear three tigers returning to an area where they have been absent. We have to keep up our efforts for tigers everywhere. It feels good to know that there still are tigers to work for.

Dare we hope these tigers stay in the area and establish themselves and even multiply. It is something to hope for.
