In the aftermath of a hurricane there are always animals in trouble. Hurricane Sally is no exception. The Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge has taken in 120 animals
in a few days. They are desperately in need of supplies and donations, but they are managing to carry on.

They have taken in quite a mixture of animals, everything from hummingbirds to pelicans. I am sure the number of rescues will continue to rise as more animals are found. Hurricanes are so destructive and little animals have no way to protect themselves. I am glad there are people there who are able to help.
