Having a pet during the pandemic lockdown
#1
Pretty much  everywhere has been experiencing some level of pandemic lockdown. It has certainly gone on much longer than we ever thought possible.
One thing that has helped people cope is our pets.

They may not be able to use the data to come to any conclusions, but I think it is pretty much understood that our pets have kept us going through a difficult time.
Many people would not have done so well. Having a pet really did counteract feelings of isolation and loneliness. Even a goldfish gives a sense of not being alone.
If you have a guinea pig you know you are needed.

I miss the early days of the pandemic when people posted silly pet videos. It stopped being fun a while ago. Our pets are still there and they are still being supportive. They didn't make fun of our covid hair or complain when we couldn't get things because of shortages. Our pets were just there for us.

We owe them big time for getting us through this.
